I was born and raised in a family of
woodworker's. Both my father and
grandfather were accomplished
craftsman. In 1972 I started my 5
year apprenticeship with Paul Evans,
an “Art Furniture” designer and
builder, located in Bucks County, Pa.
I worked the next nineteen years for
two woodworking firms honing my
craft. In 1993, along with a partner,
we opened “Paster and Moyer
Cabinetmakers”
Paster and Moyer served the
Philadelphia area specializing in high
end cabinetry, as well as custom
made doors and windows. A nine
month restoration project on the
island of Bermuda highlighted that
partnership. I loved the work but
wanted a smaller more personal
business where I could interact with
people as opposed to large
corporations. I have always had a
love for the south and in 2000 an
opportunity brought me to Kentucky
where I set up my one-man shop in
Mt Vernon.
I have found my home.
